Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I liked this little joint. we were on a road-trip to Alturas (very small town) and we were starving so we took the city center exit. Well, there was like tow places open a bar and this mexican restaurant. i remember thinking to my self and actually saying out loud I hope I don't get food poisoning. I know I was a little scared because we had sent back our kids oj because it was bad...Did I say we were starving. We had a couple of beers, some tacos, chicken fingers, salsa and chips. Their beans were fresh and very homemade and not a lot of lard added. We survived and we all had a delish lunch. I took photos and I will post. The inside is so mexican with everything and anything hanging on the wall or hanging from the ceiling. Very kitschy. Bathrooms were clean! Service was good and very attentive. A very nice surprise for our family.

First off, I hate the food here. I think it's really mediocre and that you can find better Mexican food elsewhere in Klamath Falls. I few months ago I came here with my cousin and ordered a chicken mole enchilada plate with rice and beans. The chicken mole enchilada was dry, the refried beans were runny, and the rice was bland. My cousin ordered a burrito, and they neglect to mention on the menu that it's a wet burrito (meaning they put a red sauce all over it). I recently went back for dinner with a friend, and we ate in the lounge where they were having karaoke. I ordered the carnitas burrito and she ordered an enchilada plate. The carnitas burrito was just filled with chunks of pork--nothing else. The pork was really flavorless. It had a red sauce on top of the burrito. The refried beans were, again, runny. The rice was still flavorless. I really enjoyed the chips and salsa. The upside of this place? Decent margaritas and dancing upstairs at Club Havana. Giant margaritas cost $8 and come in different flavors. My friend tried a blackberry lime margarita and it was fantastic! It wasn't too sweet. Beware if you have 3 of the large margaritas, though. You'll be so full that it'll be uncomfortable to dance! Upstairs is Club Havana, which is small, yet interesting. There's a real mix of characters and age groups that come here to partake in libations. The DJ is okay, the drinks are okay, the atmosphere tries hard to be classy, but there aren't enough places to sit. No one Klamath Falls likes to dance--it's like that movie Footloose. They all just prefer to sit, and unfortunately there aren't enough tables for us all to be sitting.

I am amazed that no one has mentioned the awful zebra decor at this mexican restaurant. A zebra skin on the wall and zebra portraits included. We would have been ok with this strangeness, but the food was mediocre at best. Filthy blinds on the huge windows did not help the atmosphere. On the plus side, the wait-staff were very attentive and the salsa was excellent.

The food is good. The salsa is good. The greatest part about this place is happy hour and its super fun atmosphere. It offers the best and cleanest night club in this city!

I went there for lunch. The service was good but I got food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend it.

Perfectly good Mexican food. Nothing to write home about, but good at a decent price.

Pretty normal Mexican food. Nothing amazing but not at all disappointed. Service wasn't the best but the food came quick and it met my expectations. Would come here again.

It's Sunday, and we are driving back from Crater Lake, we hit main street to find something for lunch, but there are only three places open. This place, an Italian joint, and subway. I always like to try to local joints over the chains when I travel, so we opted for the Mexican food. Sunday is when they do their all-day buffet. Maybe the buffet had been out just a bit too long, but the food was not great (crunchy rice is not what I call delicious). The Host/server/only guy working that day was very nice. The place is huge and would be good for a large party, but I probably wouldn't come back here. I suggest going a little out of your way to the other side of town (east of the north-south route most people take through town) and eating from one of the 20 or so delicious looking restaurants that are open on a Sunday.

Well..Well.. I was told this was the most fantastic place for Happy Hour. I took some Comp Time the other day and $100.00 for a taxi and decided to check it out. The building was impressive, Marble and castle like. I wanted it. The inside was cool, roomy and Authentic Mexican, which is not bad, it's just not too stylish: Sponge Paint job, a mish-mash of random furnishings, a patio fountain, tiny blankets sort of stapled to huge empty walls, some plants, plenty of Free Beer promotional advertisements, Salmon is not a color I would choose for a restaurant unless i had a clear design concept.. The outside had me hoping for something a little more grand. Hmm.. Sat down for a drink. Was offered 'Happy Hour snacks'. It was not far from a Hot-Dog wrapped in a tortilla and deep-fried, it reminded me of some kind of egg-roll. I opted to pass. There were televisions, which were plentiful but small and ironically because they were tuned to sports, i suppose I was expected to stare into them, as I was ignored by the bartender, who was disinterested, in making tips: as he stayed at one end, speaking Spanish to other Help, who were congregated. Not very professional. Actually, it's rude to speak a language that your customers may not understand, and to ignore them. Especially in a bar. I decided NOT to stay for dinner. I couldn't find anyone to pay, so I left a $50 on the bar, and walked out.
